Defective Material/Error
All products are guaranteed to be free of manufacturer defects in quality and workmanship. Carl Zeiss Vision accepts all products returned as a result of a manufacturing defect or data entry/picking error. No pre-authorization from your CZV Sales representative is required for this type of return.
- Data entry and picking errors need to be returned with a copy of the packing slip or invoice within 30 days or they will be returned to the sender.
- Credit for manufacturing defects cannot be issued for returned lenses that have been processed or edged unless there is a defect in the lens that has been clearly marked and which is a result of the manufacturing process.
- Carl Zeiss Vision will pay ground freight costs for returned defective product or Carl Zeiss Vision error return.
Excess Inventory Policy
An advance authorization for ALL excess inventory returns from your CZV Sales representative is required. Returns must be accompanied by the original bill of sale and a completed Returned Goods Form (including authorization number.) You may obtain this form from your Sales representative only. EXCESS INVENTORY RETURNS WITHOUT PRE-AUTHORIZATION ON EACH BOX WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE SENDER.
- A Restocking charge of 10% will be applied to excess inventory returns. The restock fee is only waived if the return is a direct result of a Carl Zeiss Vision product discontinuation.
- Inventory returns must be in original saleable condition and not older than 90 days from date of purchase. Non-saleable product will be disposed of at the Carl Zeiss Vision facility.
- Inventory returns must be in current production; OBSOLETE INVENTORIES RETURNED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE SENDER.
- Customer prepays freight.
- All credits will be issued at price in effect at time of return except for promotional specials, which will be credited at original price.
