Aspheric single vision lenses by Carl Zeiss
All aspheric single vision lenses by Carl Zeiss are computed to meet the "Center of Rotation" requirement, which means that the lens is exactly centered when its optical axis runs through the eye's optical center of rotation.
- "Center of Rotation" requirement
An aspheric lens is centered correctly when its optical axis runs through the eye's optical center of rotation.
- Fitting recommendation
Center the lenses like progressives, then shift the optical center 0.5 mm down for each degree of frame tilt. ( 10° frame tilt = 5 mm down).
